The name is RrichardrayY. Hailing from the state of California, he was born and raised in Los Angeles. Coming up in a family of four of just his parents, his sister, and himself, he survived in the streets of L.A. by living off the motto of "it is what it is" by doing what he had to do to get things done and make it own his own. Known around the city as Rich or Richie, he was well-known for his basketball skills on the court, freestyle rapping abilities on the mic, and his class clown persona. From attending basketball camp with the Harlem Globetrotters to participating with the Lakers, he was a basketball star. He wasn't just limited to sports, his talents expaned into drama and theater as well. As a teen, with hobbies such as smoking weed, long boarding, writing music and poetry, and possessing such comedic abilities, he went on to take music much more serious by taking after his dad who went by the name of Rappin Richie.

 

In 11th grade, Richie was sent off to military school. This is where his love for his country came about and he instantly fell in love with the Marine Corps. This lasted until he slep with a sophomore and lost everything he had worked so hard for and was demoted as a result. He went on to graduate high school and attended college for a year at Cypress College. He realized that this wasn't for him and cut off his dreads and enlisted in the Marine Corps. This is where Ray was formed.

 

After 13 weeks of hardships, he graduated boot camp as his company honor grad. He later went on to become a meritorously promoted Private First Class (PFC), Lance Corporal (LCpl), and Corporal (Cpl). His life took a turn for the worse when he was found guilty of illegal use of cough medicine while proudly serving his country and was later kicked out.

 

This is where his new profound love for gods green gift came into existence and resurfaced. Today, he is producing and writing his own music all in the compounds of his home. He now goes by the name of RrichardrayY and is currently unsigned, but is making a name for himself in the independent underground industry for unsigned artists.
